Description

The VA Medical Center at Memphis is a university affiliated, tertiary center with full surgical and sub specialty coverage. The Emergency Department is made up of two (2) interconnected areas. There is an acute, 24/7 area as well as a non-acute component that functions 7 days a week but with more limited hours. The incumbents will be expected to work comfortably in the acute and non-acute areas.  The preferred candidates will be board certified in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine or similar training with ER experience, and hold an unrestricted medical license.
